Harbhajan Singh will not go to Dubai for IPL with Chennai Super Kings – Report

Legendary spinner Harbhajan Singh will not leave for the IPL with the Chennai Super Kings team on Friday. According to the Times of India report, Harbhajan Singh will not leave for Dubai with the CSK team right now due to his mother being ill.

Harbhajan Singh was also not a part of CSK’s 5-day Strength and Conditioning Camp which is currently running in Chennai. Harbhajan has told the team management about this and he is expected to reach Dubai in two weeks.

Let us tell you that Harbhajan Singh is an important part of Chennai Super Kings team. The franchisee bought him in the 2018 IPL auction at a base price of 2 crores. He has taken 150 wickets in 160 IPL matches so far. He took 16 wickets in 11 matches for CSK last season.

The 13th season of the IPL will start in UAE this time from 19 September. This is why Harbhajan Singh’s importance to CSK increases significantly. Shardul Thakur and Ravindra Jadeja were also not part of the camp in Chennai but these players would join the team before leaving for Dubai.
